According to the Chief Minister's Office, Gupta extended gratitude to the residents of Delhi for their responsible behavior in choosing environmentally friendly firecrackers, aligning with Supreme Court guidelines.
The Chief Minister noted a remarkable transformation in Delhi's atmosphere during Diwali, highlighting that citizens felt connected to a government that honors traditional values while addressing contemporary needs. Gupta expressed pride in Delhiites' trust and enthusiasm during the celebrations.
In her critique of previous administrations, Gupta underscored their failure in devising effective anti-pollution strategies, opting instead for total bans on firecrackers.
