Prince Harry made an unexpected visit to Ukraine's capital, Kyiv, on Thursday, signaling a strong support for the nation's struggle against Russian aggression, now in its fifth year. 'It's good to be back in Ukraine,' he expressed upon arriving at Kyiv's railway station.
The Duke of Sussex is focusing on attending a crucial Kyiv security conference during his two-day stay. This visit underscores Ukraine's significant role in safeguarding Europe's eastern borders, especially as global attention shifts towards the Middle East.
Additionally, Prince Harry plans to visit the HALO Trust charity, a de-mining effort once championed by his mother, Princess Diana. He will also meet with Ukrainian veterans from the Invictus Games Foundation, a cause close to his heart. His visit to Ukraine follows two prior trips last year.
