Vir Das Ventures Into Horror with 'Baara Number'

Actor and comedian Vir Das will direct his second film 'Baara Number', a found-footage horror narrative. The project, created along with co-director Kavi Shastri, is set for a June start in Mumbai. Das previously directed 'Happy Patel: Khatarnak Jasoos', a spy comedy released in January.

Renowned actor, comedian, and filmmaker Vir Das has announced his latest directorial project, a found-footage horror film titled 'Baara Number'.

Set to begin filming in June, 'Baara Number' will be co-directed by Das and Kavi Shastri. The film aims to transcend traditional horror conventions by incorporating psychological complexity within its atmospheric storytelling framework.

Vir Das, also starring in the film, will produce it under his company Zazu Productions. Known for his roles in 'Delhi Belly' and 'Go Goa Gone', Das continues to expand his filmmaking repertoire, having recently released 'Happy Patel: Khatarnak Jasoos'.
