In a striking solo exhibition at Triveni Kala Sangam's Shridharani Gallery, Shruti Gupta Chandra unveils a transformative body of abstract works. Her exhibit, titled 'Where Does the Mind Stop and the World Begin?', represents a significant shift in her artistic approach, moving from figurative realism to abstract symbolism.

Chandra’s pieces defy traditional structural norms, embracing organic forms and unconventional paths that symbolize freedom and challenge perception. Influenced by her background in Kathak dance, her work features rhythmic movement and vibrant color, rejecting predictable forms and embracing a new visual language through mixed media techniques.

The exhibition not only highlights Chandra's unique artistic evolution but also offers philosophical and spiritual insights into the abstraction process. Curated by Ashwani Pai Bahadur, the exhibit will run until March 24, drawing on an accompanying essay by art historian Lina Vincent to delve deeply into the thematic dimensions of Chandra's work.
