RSS Chief Advocates Social Media Activism for Positive Change

At the centenary celebration of Marathi newspaper Tarun Bharat in Nagpur, RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat emphasized the significance of leveraging social media for good causes. While acknowledging its widespread use, Bhagwat emphasized the need for increased activism by the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh on online platforms to promote positive societal change.

Bhagwat noted the role of social media in current communication strategies, with memes and reels being prevalent. He highlighted that content from the RSS communication department and volunteer efforts is already being disseminated, indicating that a more robust online presence is essential. He also addressed the necessity of bringing people together and the mutual benefit of constructive volunteer work in spreading desired change.

The RSS chief discussed the expanding scope of the organization's work, underscoring the need for decentralization to meet growing public expectations and demand for volunteers. Bhagwat revealed plans for a dedicated coordination unit to facilitate interaction with the government and address operational hurdles, ensuring better efficiency in the organization's initiatives.
