Delhi's Cultural Mosaic: Year-Round Events Set to Transform Public Spaces

The Delhi Development Authority (DDA) is on a mission to transform public spaces by hosting year-round cultural and wellness activities in the national capital. Officials announced on Wednesday their plan to engage a single event management company to handle a comprehensive annual calendar of events across designated locations in Delhi.

This initiative aims to celebrate and embody the city's rich cultural identity, a living mosaic shaped by history and diversity. A tender has already been issued to secure a company capable of curating, managing, and executing these events, reflecting the broader aim to foster community engagement through shared public experiences.

The proposed framework focuses on regular, structured programming rather than sporadic events, integrating Delhi's art and culture with health and wellness. Up to 24 events per year could be organized, primarily from September to April, ensuring a consistent cultural presence in the city.
