Beef Fest Controversy: A Clash of Cultural Sentiments
The MSF has called for a boycott of 'Kerala Story 2' following a controversial 'beef fest' by SFI, which MSF believes could hurt Hindu sentiments. Both organizations are protesting the film differently. MSF contends respecting the beliefs of those who do not eat beef for religious reasons.

The Muslim Students Federation (MSF), allied with Congress, has urged boycotting the movie 'Kerala Story 2,' while questioning a 'beef fest' by the Student Federation of India (SFI) as a form of protest. MSF expresses concerns that such events might offend Hindu communities that avoid beef, aligning neither with RSS nor communal beliefs.
According to trailers, 'Kerala Story 2' contains a scene where a character is force-fed beef, prompting the SFI to organize this fest. MSF's state general secretary, C K Najaf, criticized this approach, emphasizing that respect must be given to Hindu believers who abstain from consuming beef due to their faith.
Najaf, via social media, denounced the choice of protest, arguing that it dangerously borders on infringing human rights. He advocates for alternative methods of protest, suggesting that a constructive type of resistance is more apt than potentially inflammatory actions like the beef fest.
