French President Emmanuel Macron and First Lady Brigitte Macron concluded their official visit to Mumbai, India, where they engaged in bilateral talks with Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Following their strategic discussions aimed at enhancing India-France relations, they departed for New Delhi.
During their Mumbai visit, the Macrons also met with prominent figures from India's film industry over lunch. The discussions centered on cinema, cultural exchanges, and potential collaborations within the sector. In addition, Macron and his wife visited the iconic Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus, a UNESCO World Heritage site.
French President Macron's visit to India began on February 17, prompted by an invitation from PM Modi to attend the AI Impact Summit in New Delhi. Electronics and IT Secretary S. Krishnan noted that the summit will see attendance from 20 heads of state, inaugurating on February 19.
