An Indian delegation headed by Chief of Defence Staff General Anil Chauhan is visiting Armenia on a pivotal official mission, marking significant strides in shared strategic interests and reinforcing the long-standing defence partnership between the two countries.
The Headquarters Integrated Defence Staff (HQ IDS) revealed updates on the ongoing four-day visit via social media, sharing glimpses of the Indian team's engagements. During the visit, Gen Chauhan participated in a wreath-laying ceremony at the Armenian Genocide Memorial & Museum in Yerevan, paying homage to the lives lost in the genocide.
The delegation enjoyed a warm reception in Yerevan, underscored by a ceremony from the Armenian Armed Forces. This visit highlights the strengthening bilateral ties and the enduring India-Armenia friendship.
