Blaze Engulfs Luxury Tents at Jaisalmer Resort During Cultural Festivity

A fire broke out in one of the luxury tents at a resort near the Sam Sand Dunes in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan, on Thursday night, eventually engulfing five tents, according to officials.
The incident occurred during a music and cultural program on a stage in the resort, but no casualties were reported as most tourists were attending the event about 50 meters away.
Police reported that strong winds helped the flames spread rapidly. Resort staff, alongside tourists, managed to control the fire within 30 minutes by using sand to extinguish the blaze.
