A bustling gathering of Chinese traditional medicine enthusiasts attended the 'Ayurveda for Mental Well-being' workshop hosted by the Indian Embassy. Under the guidance of Dr. Dhanwantari Jha and Dr. Nidhi Jha, the workshop featured stress management strategies and techniques such as Shirodhara and Pranayama.
During the event, Deputy Ambassador Abhishek Shukla stressed the rising importance of Ayurveda in China. The traditional Indian system of medicine, known for its union with yoga, offers promising solutions for mental and physical well-being, attracting increasing interest in a country traditionally devoted to Chinese Medicine.
Adding to the momentum, an Ayurveda clinic established in Guangzhou by Kerala's Dr. Changampalli Kizhakkillath and Dr. Dane Shafeeque is further popularizing the ancient practice. The couple is actively training locals in the holistic therapies Ayurveda offers, notably the cherished Sirodhara technique.
