Indian cinema is mourning the loss of one of its cherished stars, Govardhan Asrani, famously known as Asrani, who passed away on Monday. Actor Akshay Kumar took to Instagram to share an heartfelt tribute to his longtime co-star.
Akshay recollected meeting Asrani just a week prior to his passing during the filming of Priyadarshan's 'Haiwaan'. He expressed profound sorrow and highlighted Asrani's legendary comic timing, stating, "Bahot pyare insaan the...he had the most legendary comic timing."
Having worked alongside Asrani in numerous films, including 'Hera Pheri', Akshay lamented the loss to the industry. Asrani will be seen posthumously in 'Bhoot Bangla' and 'Haiwaan'. His passing at the age of 84 has triggered an outpouring of tributes from fans and colleagues alike.
