Actor Alia Bhatt has revealed a heartfelt birthday gift plan for her daughter Raha, sharing the details in the second episode of 'Two Much With Kajol & Twinkle' on Amazon Prime. Bhatt appeared on the show with friend and former co-star Varun Dhawan, where the two opened up about their relationships, parenthood, and marriage.
During the conversation, Kajol posed a curious question about Alia’s idea of writing emails to her daughter, Raha, and whether the concept was inspired by the movie 'Kuch Kuch Hota Hai'. Alia clarified that a friend, not the film, inspired her. She elaborated that the emails serve as a monthly compilation of images and short notes that capture significant memories, intended as a gift for Raha’s 18th birthday.
Alia also reflected on her bond with her father-in-law, Rishi Kapoor, recalling the memorable times they shared while filming 'Kapoor and Sons'. Despite not dating Ranbir Kapoor then, she fondly remembered Rishi's welcoming nature and storytelling prowess. Alia observed that her daughter Raha shares a dynamic resembling Rishi Kapoor's energy. She expressed how deeply intertwined personal relationships feel, especially being part of the Kapoor family, and noted the realization during Raj Kapoor’s 100th anniversary celebration. Alia, who married Ranbir Kapoor in April 2022, is currently working on her upcoming film 'Alpha'.
