IIT Delhi Receives Monumental Support for AI Advancement
Anant Yardi, IIT Delhi alumnus and founder of Yardi Systems, donates Rs 75 crore to boost AI research and campus infrastructure at IIT Delhi. A substantial part of the contribution will support the Yardi School of Artificial Intelligence and the Infrastructure Renewal and Expansion Programme.

IIT Delhi has announced a significant donation of Rs 75 crore from its alumnus, Anant Yardi, who is the Founder of Yardi Systems. This generous contribution aims to propel the institute's research in artificial intelligence.
A major portion of the donation will support the Yardi School of Artificial Intelligence and will also go towards the Infrastructure Renewal and Expansion Programme, which focuses on enhancing both academic and residential facilities at the campus.
Yardi, a 1968-batch alumnus, expressed his gratitude towards the institute for providing a strong educational foundation. The Yardi School of AI at IIT Delhi, inaugurated in 2020, emphasizes interdisciplinary applications spanning healthcare, robotics, and more, with collaborative efforts from over 40 faculty members.
