Chandigarh University in Uttar Pradesh has unveiled 'Campus Tank', a new platform designed to foster innovation and entrepreneurship among young people. The initiative seeks to empower emerging entrepreneurs through mentorship and financial resources, aiming to transform promising ideas into successful ventures.
The program has already welcomed over 1,000 startups, with 10 receiving funding after presenting to investors. With a hefty fund of USD 6 million, 'Campus Tank' provides crucial seed capital, addressing one of the biggest challenges faced by fledgling startups.
In addition, Chandigarh University introduced 'CU AI Space', a collaborative workspace focused on artificial intelligence. This launch places the university at the forefront of innovation, solidifying its role in India's startup ecosystem and contributing to the nation's goal of becoming a developed economy by 2047.
