Empowering Future Leaders: Shriram Life Insurance Awards Scholarships to Telangana Toppers

Shriram Life Insurance Company has initiated a scholarship program aimed at rewarding academic excellence among 10th-grade students in Telangana’s government schools. The program covers 119 assembly constituencies, offering INR 30,000 for each constituency topper and INR 1 lakh for the top three state-level performers for the academic year 2024-25.

The scholarships are designed to cover some expenses of the students’ intermediate education. The beneficiaries were selected from a list provided by the Department of School Education, Telangana. The initiative was unveiled at a ceremony attended by key figures including D. Sridhar Babu, Minister of IT, and Shriram Life's leadership team.

This initiative is a part of Shriram Life Insurance's broader CSR activities, aimed at supporting the education of children from underserved communities. Casparus J.H. Kromhout, MD and CEO of Shriram Life, expressed hope that the program will inspire students to excel academically and personally. The event underscored the importance of a holistic education that integrates values, skills, and self-confidence.
