A devastating road accident in Jharkhand's Lohardaga district has resulted in the heartbreaking loss of three family members, local authorities report. The fatal collision occurred on Friday near Dhuluva Khunta, within the confines of the Kuru police station.
According to the police, a scooter carrying Kishore Bhagat (32), his mother Bishun Bhagatain (53), and cousin Niranjan Oraon (26), all hailing from Kolsimri village, collided head-on with a truck. The impact was fatal, claiming the lives of the two men instantly.
Bishun Bhagatain, the mother, was rushed to Sadar Hospital, where she tragically died from her injuries. This incident underscores the urgent need for improved road safety measures in the region, as noted by SP Sadique Anwar Rizvi.
