In Kerala, a 19-year-old identified as Sujith Suresh was apprehended by authorities for allegedly attacking the Vande Bharat Express train with stones. The incident, reported near Aluva, resulted in minor damage to the train's side windows.
The alleged misstep, reportedly stemming from personal distress over a failed relationship, led to his arrest after officials scrutinized CCTV footage from the train. The footage was crucial in pinpointing Sujith as the culprit.
The Railway Protection Force and Railway Police managed a joint operation for the arrest. Sujith, after admitting to the offence, was subsequently presented in court and placed under judicial custody.
