In a statement on Thursday, Akasa Air revealed that flight QP 624 had to be redirected to Chennai due to stormy weather during its scheduled route to Bengaluru on March 18. While the exact number of passengers wasn't disclosed, the airline confirmed adherence to established safety protocols.
