Amit Gupta, owner of Effects Kitchens in Connaught Place, reported a significant rise in both walk-in customers and online inquiries. With demand surpassing available stock, his store is sourcing additional inventory to meet the increased need for electric cooktops and compatible utensils.

The LPG supply issue is impacting restaurants, leading to potential menu alterations as establishments explore electric cooking methods. The dependence on LPG cylinders is causing challenges, pushing some smaller eateries to consider coal or wood-based cooking as backup options.
