Tragedy on Wheels: Swiss Bus Fire Claims Six Lives

In a tragic incident on Tuesday, a suspected arson attack on a bus in Kerzers, a small town in western Switzerland, resulted in six fatalities, prompting a criminal investigation by the local police.
Fribourg city police reported that the bus became engulfed in flames while on a road in the canton of Fribourg, approximately 20 kilometers from Bern, the Swiss capital. A police spokesperson, Frederic Papaux, indicated that preliminary evidence suggests a deliberate act by an individual inside the bus.
While three passengers were rushed to the hospital for injuries, video footage shows the intense scene of passengers fleeing the burning vehicle. Swiss President Guy Parmelin expressed his condolences and confirmed the ongoing investigation into the incident.
