Zuari Industries has disclosed a consolidated net loss totaling Rs 26.42 crore for the third quarter of the 2025-26 fiscal, primarily due to inflated expenses. The report, released via a regulatory filing on Friday, showed a rise from the Rs 25.23 crore loss recorded in the same period last year.

The company witnessed an increase in total income, reaching Rs 301.4.8 crore for the October to December quarter, compared to Rs 274 crore during the previous year's corresponding period. Despite this, total expenses escalated to Rs 334.24 crore from Rs 312.75 crore a year earlier.

Athar Shahab, Managing Director of Zuari Industries, emphasized the organization's steady operational progress in its Sugar, Power, and Ethanol sectors, attributing part of the success to robust execution during the crushing season.
