Changi Airport Group is eyeing expansion opportunities within India's booming aviation industry. During the ET Now Global Business Summit 2026, Chairman Lim Ming Yan outlined the group's strategy of seeking collaboration with local partners for airport projects. The group, known for operating Singapore's Changi Airport, is keen to leverage its technical expertise in India's dynamic market.

Lim Ming Yan underscored India's potential as a growth market for aviation, pointing to the country's public-private partnership model as a promising avenue for investment. The group is already involved with Durgapur Airport in West Bengal, which, despite its size, has seen value additions through Changi's management experience.
