Bharti Airtel witnessed a steep 55% decline in its consolidated net profit, amounting to Rs 6,630.5 crore for the third quarter ending December 2025. This downturn was primarily attributed to escalating network operating costs, statutory fees, and employee expenses, the company announced on Thursday.
Despite the profit dip, Bharti Airtel's revenue from operations surged by 19.6% to Rs 53,982 crore, compared to Rs 45,129.3 crore in the same period last year. The company also recorded a 28% increase in capital expenditure, reflecting investments in its infrastructure and services.
Gopal Vittal, Executive Vice Chairman of Bharti Airtel, noted strong performance in India and Africa, supported by a diversified portfolio and the adoption of a homegrown digital stack. The customer base expanded by 11.8% to 57.6 crore, driving growth in both mobile and broadband services.
