Asian Granito India Ltd (AGL), a prominent manufacturer of bathware and tiles, has announced a significant threefold increase in standalone profit to Rs 4.45 crore for the third quarter of FY26. This performance represents a substantial leap from the Rs 1.13 crore profit recorded in the same period last year, according to a regulatory filing released by the Ahmedabad-based company on Wednesday.

The company's revenue from operations saw a modest climb to Rs 268.42 crore, which marks a 4.04% increase from Rs 257.98 crore reported in the corresponding quarter of the previous year. AGL attributes this growth to robust sales driven by operational efficiency and the introduction of new products across various categories, which are expected to further boost sales in the future.

Managing Director Mukesh Patel expressed optimism, highlighting AGL's expectations of continued growth in both revenue and profit margins in upcoming quarters. Notably, reduced tariffs on Indian ceramic goods in the US market have restored competitiveness, with the US making up nearly 9% of India's ceramic tile exports in FY24.
