In a significant announcement, Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal highlighted that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has clinched a crucial trade deal with the United States, successfully shielding India's vital agriculture and dairy sectors. This breakthrough is poised to open up new avenues for the country's MSMEs along with sectors like engineering, textiles, gems and jewelry, leather goods, and marine products.

During a press conference, Goyal emphasized that this agreement marks substantial progress for India's economy, especially benefiting labor-intensive industries that provide significant employment. Referring to it as a 'future-defining deal,' he noted that industries involved in India's exports and global supply chains are eagerly anticipating the prospects it holds.
