AAIB's Vigilance: 19 Aviation Incidents Under Probe
The Aircraft Accident Investigation Bureau (AAIB) has been investigating 19 aircraft accidents and serious incidents in the country over the past year. According to Minister Murlidhar Mohol, the AAIB follows ICAO Annex 13 and the Aircraft Investigation Rules for probes. One incident report has been concluded.

The Aircraft Accident Investigation Bureau (AAIB) has undertaken the investigation of 19 aviation accidents and serious incidents over the past year, as confirmed by the government.
Speaking in the Rajya Sabha, Minister of State for Civil Aviation Murlidhar Mohol stated that all reported aircraft accidents and serious incidents have come under the AAIB's scrutiny.
The investigations adhere to International Civil Aviation Organisation's Annex 13 standards and the Aircraft (Investigation of Accidents and Incidents) Rules, 2025. A report on one serious incident has been completed and is available on the AAIB's website.
