FMCG giant Unilever is examining the potential of establishing a Global Capability Centre (GCC) in Hyderabad, according to announcements made by the Telangana government.
During the World Economic Forum Annual Meeting in Davos, Telangana's Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy engaged with Willem Uijen, Unilever’s Chief Supply Chain and Operations Officer, to discuss Hyderabad's development as a strategic GCC hub.
The state government, actively forging international collaborations, introduced 'Telangana Rising 2047'—a vision aiming to develop Hyderabad’s economy to USD three trillion by 2047, focusing on infrastructure projects like the Bharat Future City with partnerships involving the UAE and potential contributions from global giants like Google and Royal Philips.
