The calibration flight, a crucial pre-operational test, aims to verify the functionality and precision of the airport's navigation and communication systems. The assessment, involving specially designed aircraft, evaluates signal strength, stability, and accuracy under varying conditions.
The initial phase of Noida International Airport, spanning 1,334 hectares and featuring one runway, is nearing completion. Developed by Yamuna International Airport Private Limited in partnership with Zurich Airport International AG, the airport anticipates phased enhancement to accommodate up to 300 million passengers annually.
