Empowering Exporters: FIEO's eBRC Session Highlights Digital Future

The Federation of Indian Export Organisations (FIEO) recently conducted an awareness session focusing on electronic bank realisation certificates (eBRC) for exporters. The meeting, held in collaboration with the Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT), served as a pivotal platform for enhancing understanding of digital certifications for export proceeds.

The e-BRC is an indispensable digital document verifying the realization of export payments. Its importance lies in facilitating exporters' access to government benefits, tax exemptions, and refunds under the Foreign Trade Policy. The session emphasized the Indian government's ongoing commitment to supporting the exporting community through digital transformation.

Organized under the Niryat Bandhu Scheme by the Additional DGFT's Kolkata office, the session featured a hands-on presentation by DGFT's technical team. Attendees received valuable insights into the various e-governance modules, showcasing the transparent, efficient services available to streamline export processes.
