Liquor maker Radico Khaitan Ltd has announced a remarkable 73 per cent increase in its net profit for the September quarter, totaling Rs 139.56 crore. This growth is attributed to strong volume performance, with consolidated revenue from operations hitting Rs 5,056.72 crore, a significant rise from the previous year's Rs 3,906.59 crore.
Total expenses witnessed an uptick, recorded at Rs 4,872.75 crore compared to Rs 3,795.84 crore in the corresponding period last year. The impressive numbers are backed by a 37.8 per cent surge in the total IMFL volume, underscoring the company's success in the 'prestige & above' and 'regular & others' segments.
Chairman Lalit Khaitan emphasized the stable raw material scenario and the company’s focus on premiumization as key factors in maintaining strong operating margins. Abhishek Khaitan, Managing Director, highlighted the shift towards premiumization in the Indian spirits landscape, noting Radico Khaitan’s strategic positioning to lead this transformation with innovations and brand investments.
